Tax Assistant Manager

As the Tax Assistant Manager at PT Samindo Resources Tbk
, you will support the Accounting Manager and management team in overseeing the company's tax function. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, preparing accurate tax reporting, supporting tax planning initiatives, and coordinating tax-related matters with internal and external stakeholders. This full-time position is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta.

• Support and oversee daily tax operations to ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Prepare and review Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax, and other tax filings.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and tax payments.
• Maintain proper tax documentation and reconcile with accounting records.
• Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and tax-related disclosures for financial reporting.
• Coordinate tax audits and manage correspondence with tax authorities.
• Monitor changes in Indonesian tax regulations and evaluate their impact on the company.
• Support tax planning initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and other departments to ensure tax compliance across business activities.
• Maintain and improve tax processes, controls, and documentation.
• Prepare tax reports and analyses for management as required.

• Proficiency in English (oral & written) is a must. Do not apply if you're not fluent in English.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in taxation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role.
• Experience in a shipping company is preferable.
• Experience in a Tax Consulting Firm is an advantage.
• Brevet A & B certification is required;
  Brevet C is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and tax administration.
• Familiarity with PSAK / IFRS is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax-related reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good stakeholder management and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
