Project Accountant

Project Accountant position on a full-time project contract basis at senior staff level, based at OWJ2 Z6 Site Office, Duri Kosambi, West Jakarta.

Key responsibilities

Prepare Payment and handle Internet Banking processes

Prepare accounting journals and monthly closing

Prepare and check monthly M&E annual financial reports and consolidation documents from consultant

Prepare and check M&E VAT, WHT and other tax-related documents and coordinate with Tax Consultant/Tax Team

Prepare and maintain all softcopy and hardcopy accounting and project documentation

Support external audit, tax audit and other financial/accounting reviews

Coordinate with HRGA, Procurement, Project Control, Tax and other related departments regarding accounting and financial matters

Support Finance-Accounting-Tax and other related necessary work

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or other relevant discipline

Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience as accountant/accounting

Hands-on experience in Project Accounting, including cost control, budget monitoring, and project financial reporting

Experience in the Engineering and Construction industry is strongly preferred, with familiarity in project site accounting operations

Strong knowledge and practical experience in Indonesian tax compliance, including VAT, WHT and Coretax

Strong financial analysis skills

Familiarity with accounting software

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Business-level English communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and coordinate effectively with multinational project members

Ability to work with team and has good initiative, strong personality, positive attitude and ability to work efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines
