Account Receivable

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Receivable professional to join PT Gaya Makmur Mobil on a contract basis
. This position is based in Jakarta Barat, Jakarta Raya and plays a crucial role in managing our accounts receivable operations. As Account Receivable, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection of outstanding payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the smooth flow of cash within our organisation. This role is integral to our financial operations and directly impacts the company's liquidity and financial health.

• Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices
• Process and record account receivable transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies
• Prepare and send invoices, statements and collection notices to customers
• Follow up on overdue accounts and implement collection strategies
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies or billing issues
• Maintain detailed records of all transactions and customer communications
• Prepare ageing reports and provide regular updates on outstanding receivables
• Liaise with sales and operations teams to address customer payment concerns
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable
• Support the development and improvement of receivable processes and procedures

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar financial accounting role, preferably in a commercial or automotive environment
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and transaction processing
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging collection situations diplomatically
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• Familiarity with invoice processing, payment reconciliation and debt collection procedures
