Accountant, Bookkeeper​/ Accounting Clerk, Staff Accountant

This role involves accounting and bookkeeping for a cooperative, with responsibility for accurate financial transaction recording and management of financial records in accordance with accounting principles.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine and accurate recording and bookkeeping of cooperative financial transactions

Manage balance sheet books and ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with applicable accounting principles

Assist with closing processes and periodic financial report preparation

Assist with other accounting administration work as needed for cooperative operations

About you

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices, including journal entries, general ledger, and reconciliation

Proficient in accounting software and spreadsheets (for example, Excel) and experienced working with financial data systems

Able to communicate clearly, adapt to a structured and military-oriented work environment, and maintain high levels of integrity and confidentiality

Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Open to fresh graduates
