Senior Tax Consultant
About the role
SSJK Consulting is seeking a talented Senior Tax Consultant to join our team in South Jakarta. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.
What you’ll be doing- Preparing and reviewing tax returns, calculations, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assisting with tax audits, tax objection and tax appeal process
- Researching and interpreting tax legislation and regulations to provide insightful recommendations
- Collaborating with team to deliver excellent tax solutions
- Providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships with clients and team
- Mentoring and training associate members of the tax team to develop their skills and knowledge
- Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Fiscal Administration
- At least 3 years of experience in a professional services firm
- Has USKP A or B certification
- Familiarity with tax software is an advantage, e.g. Coretax
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Comprehensive understanding of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain tax matters to clients
- A proactive, collaborative, and client‑centric approach to delivering tax solution
