Operation Specialist; Knowledge Management - Global

Responsibilities

Team Introduction:
The Global Payment team of Byte Dance provides payment solutions – including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and more – to ensure that users have a smooth and secure payment experience on Byte Dance platforms such as Tik Tok.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs), ensuring smooth execution and adherence.
• Develop, document, and implement SOPs to drive consistency and efficiency in operations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, compliance teams, and operational units, to standardize best practices.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies across global operations.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of SOPs to align with evolving business needs and regulatory changes.
• Analyze operational workflows and identify areas for process optimization and risk mitigation.
• Provide training and guidance to teams on SOP adherence and implementation.
• Act as an escalation point for operational issues related to SOP compliance, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
• Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Automation teams to enhance operational effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in operational process management, SOP development, or a related field within financial services.
• Proven experience in managing cross‑functional collaborations and driving process improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, global environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years and above relevant experience.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a root‑cause mindset.
• Exceptional communication skills to work with global stakeholders.
