QS Project

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulations throughout the construction process
• Identify and assess risks associated with construction projects, implement strategies to mitigate risks, and minimize potential financial losses.
• Review and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, negotiate pricing, and recommend the most cost‑effective solutions.
• Manage project budgets throughout all phases, from initial estimates to final account, tracking costs, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects and monitor project costs and expenditures.
• Support tendering, procurement, and contract administration activities throughout project execution.
• Provide expert advice on procurement, risk management and cost‑saving measures

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in tall building, high‑rise, and mixed‑use construction projects. Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost estimation, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Budget Plans (RAB).
• Familiar with contract law, construction contracts, tender processes, and subcontract administration.
• Proficient Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Sketch Up.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, sustainability practices, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work effectively to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
