Location: Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and review of layout plans and full set of construction drawings to ensure feasibility and cost control.
- Review engineering budgets to ensure reasonableness and alignment with project objectives.
- Coordinate with BD teams across Southeast Asia to support commercial negotiations by providing technical and engineering input.
- Liaise with mall landlords or building owners on design review, official permit approvals and all mandatory pre-construction clearances required under Indonesian local regulations.
- Align and coordinate with local external vendors and suppliers to ensure full project readiness.
- Supervise the full retail store fit‑out construction process; conduct regular inspections of materials, components, equipment, construction techniques and workflows to meet brand quality standards.
- Carry out and file inspection records for concealed works, follow up on timely rectification of all identified quality defects.
- Strictly implement Indonesian on‑site safety regulations to eliminate construction accidents.
- Analyze project expenditure and propose cost optimization solutions based on local market material prices and technical requirements.
- Lead pre‑handover checks and joint acceptance inspections together with internal and mall stakeholders.
- Track defect rectification progress strictly to maintain high store handover standards.
- Complete on‑site project final confirmation, verify construction quantities, and ensure timely submission and accurate audit of final settlement documents to protect corporate financial interests.
- Compile and archive complete construction files including drawings, technical reports and inspection records for full traceability.
- Oversee daily maintenance of store facilities and equipment, arrange timely minor repairs to guarantee stable retail operation.
- Analyze store maintenance data to continuously upgrade retail fit‑out standards and engineering design schemes.
- Participate in formulating and optimizing group‑wide engineering quality management systems, processes and operational standards.
- Complete other ad‑hoc tasks and special projects assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture or equivalent related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years hands‑on working experience in retail store fit‑out supervision or project management.
- Prior experience in design coordination or architectural communication is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of Indonesian local construction codes, site supervision workflows and retail fit‑out industry practices.
- Skilled in supervision tools to manage construction quality, timeline and project cost.
- Solid construction professional knowledge covering structural design, construction craft and building material performance.
- Able to accurately diagnose engineering quality issues and deliver actionable solutions.
- Strong sense of responsibility, urgency and rigorous attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical thinking, troubleshooting and independent decision‑making ability.
- Outstanding communication, cross‑party coordination and negotiation capabilities.
- Self‑driven, proactive working attitude with strong accountability for deliverables.
- Ready for frequent cross‑city travel across Indonesia; private vehicle is a plus (not mandatory).
- Fluent in Mandarin as core working language; good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
