Planning Engineer (for Construction Management)

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, preferably experience in construction project site from Main Contractor or Consultant background.

Demonstrated experience using Scheduling Software (Primavera P6, MS Project), data analysis & presentation (Power BI, Looker Studio).

Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.

Strong analytical skills in schedule tracking, variance analysis, and delay impact assessment.

In-depth understanding of project life-cycle from design workflows, procurement strategy, construction methods & sequence, commissioning strategy and project close-out.

Job Overview
:
The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, managing, and updating detailed project schedules in construction. They work closely with project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key tasks include tracking progress, managing resources, identifying risks, and addressing delays.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Monitor progress and update schedules regularly.
• Allocate resources efficiently and ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and labor.
• Identify potential risks and recommend solutions.
• Communicate with stakeholders and prepare progress reports.
• Assist in cost control and budget management.
• Manage changes to scope and timelines effectively.
