Architect – Interior Design & Design and Build (Jakarta Office)

Reporting To: Design Manager / Country Head

We are looking for a creative and technically strong Architect to support high-end residential, interior, renovation, and Design and Build projects in Jakarta.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing architectural and interior concepts, preparing detailed technical drawings, presenting proposals to clients, and supporting the project team during construction.

This role requires someone who can balance design creativity, technical accuracy, client requirements, budget considerations, and construction feasibility.

Develop architectural and interior design concepts for:

Landed residential properties

Apartments and condominiums

Rebuild and new residential projects

Prepare space-planning layouts, concept designs, mood boards, and design presentations.

Produce 3D visualisations when required.

Integrate Boloni kitchen, wardrobe, and interior systems into the overall design.

Ensure proposed designs are aligned with:

Client lifestyle and preferences

Space requirements

Technical and construction feasibility

Prepare accurate and detailed architectural and interior drawings, including:

Elevations

Sections

Joinery and interior details

Ensure all drawings and documentation are suitable for project execution.

Coordinate drawings with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.

Work closely with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other relevant consultants.

Review shop drawings, material samples, finishes, and technical specifications.

Minimise design errors, discrepancies, and construction rework.

Attend client meetings together with the Business Development or Sales team.

Present design concepts, layouts, materials, and proposed solutions.

Understand and translate client requirements into practical and attractive designs.

Advise clients on materials, finishes, functionality, space planning, and design suitability.

Revise designs and drawings based on client feedback and project requirements.

Maintain professional communication throughout the design process.

Support the project team throughout the construction and installation stages.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure the approved design intent is followed.

Resolve design-related and technical issues arising during construction.

Coordinate with contractors, installers, and suppliers.

Ensure the proper integration and installation of Boloni interior systems.

Support a smooth transition from design development to construction and handover.

Support full Design and Build projects, including renovations, rebuilds, and new residential developments.

Work closely with the Business Development team on project proposals and presentations.

Provide design and technical feasibility input during the proposal stage.

Assist with aligning the project design, scope, and estimated budget.

Coordinate the integration of architecture, interior design, furniture systems, and construction requirements.

Contribute design input that supports successful project conversion and delivery.
