Roleand Requirements
- Applicants must be fully qualified, and have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Confidently teach across a range of Design and Technology disciplines, including Product Design and Digital Design (ideally in both MYP and DP contexts) using inquiry- and concept-based approaches that promote creative and critical thinking.
- Plan and deliver learning experiences that integrate design thinking, sustainability, and innovation, aligned with the IB Learner Profile and global contexts.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of tools, machinery, and materials in the design studios and workshops, following relevant health and safety procedures and promoting best practice among students.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and risk assessments, ensuring all learning environments meet required standards.
- Support the ongoing development of the MYP and DP Design curriculum, contributing to collaborative planning and vertical alignment across the programmes.
- Act as a tutor for a year group in Secondary School (Year 7‑13).
- A track record of exceptional teaching experience.
- Capable of teaching across Secondary age group.
