Sampoerna University - Information System Lecturer

Full-time position in the Department:
Sampoerna University Academic Members.

• Contribute to the scholarship and intellectual life of the University by conducting University Tri Dharma as appropriate under Head of Department supervision and participating in university and wider departmental activities.
• Engage in undergraduate teaching, primarily lecturing and occasionally teaching classes.
• Conduct research that enhances the School’s academic reputation; publish articles in refereed journals or proceedings, author or edit books, develop modules or lesson plans, translate books, and present at seminars or conferences.
• Manage research grants, including recruitment and supervision of research assistants, and deliver timely research reports.
• Participate in examination duties, such as producing exam questions/papers, marking, and moderation.
• Participate in approved community development activities.
• Act as academic advisor to students and refer them to pastoral support resources.
• Participate in various university events as a committee member and undertake other duties required by the Faculty or Rectorate.

• Doctoral degree in Information Systems, Informatics, IT Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• English proficiency in oral and written communication; all classes are taught entirely in English.
• At least one year of relevant experience, preferably in higher education.
• Area of expertise (preferably interdisciplinary):
  Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, Data Science, Digital Transformation.
• Experience in university-level teaching.
• Demonstrated research output (Scopus-indexed publications preferred).
• Experience in curriculum development aligned with OBE (Outcome-Based Education).
