Job Description s: Responsible for managing education services in their center, this person leads, manages, and oversees the quality and quantity of education services to provide learners and prospective learners with a consistent, industry-leading experience. This person serves as a role model for the academic team in their center in terms of delivering quality education services, actively and positively collaborating with all center staff, and promoting memorable learning experiences through a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and support at all times.

Responsibilities: Leads initiatives to ensure that the quality and quantity of academic operations provided to students at the center level meet industry-leading standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Provides performance management, support, mentorship, training, talent development, and coaching to teachers in line with company expectations. Works with the Center Director and Academic Operations Manager to ensure teachers receive interventions designed to support and enhance their professional development.
  • Enhances the student experience by collaborating with the Sales and Service teams, and by ensuring teachers focus on Learn-Try-Apply-Certify, the English environment, and students’ short- and long-term goals and motivation.
  • Works with the Center Director and Academic Operations Manager on teacher scheduling to ensure optimum utilization of resources that meet the needs of students, sales, and service.
  • Actively participates in required observation and feedback sessions, training, development meetings, informational meetings, product testing, and relevant projects as required.
  • Acts as a role model for conduct, leadership, and teaching within the center.
  • Undertakes all necessary human resources and administrative duties.
  • Works with all center staff to ensure the center is maintained to an appropriate standard.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous managerial experience is preferred and will be considered a plus.
    Demonstrated ability to adapt and develop teaching materials, as well as training and development materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the confidence to make decisions, interpret data, and understand how to drive change.
  • Experience teaching with EF methodology is preferred but not essential.
