We are looking for a highly organized Compliance & Legal Specialist to keep our school running safely and legally. In this role, you will be the person who handles our school licenses, talks to city and government officials, reviews vendor contracts before signing and organizing all of our contracts and agreements. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, offering the flexibility to work partially from home.
Scopein Detail
- Manage School Licenses:
Track, prepare, and renew all school permits and operational licenses on time. - Talk to Government Stakeholders:
Act as the main point of contact for city inspectors and government officials. You will handle the paperwork and follow up on approvals. - Review Contracts:
Read through vendor agreements, service contracts, and school leases to spot any risky terms or unfair clauses. - Organize Physical & Digital Contracts:
Manage the complete filing system for all school agreements (physical and digital). - Support other tasks in the commercial and headquarter team from time to time.
- Education:
A Bachelor’s degree (S1) or Master’s degree (S2) in Law (Hukum), Public Administration, or Education Policy or a legal certification. - Experience:
At least 3 years of work experience in a legal department, compliance role, handling school operations policies, or education policy work. - Live Nearby:
You must live within 30 minutes of West Jakarta for quick access to the campus. - Personal Vehicle:
You must own a car or motorcycle (and have a valid SIM A or SIM C license). This job requires regular travel to local government offices and our school campuses. - Good with Paperwork:
You can read legal documents or city rules and understand them easily. - Great Communicator:
You know how to speak politely and professionally with government officers to get things done. - Filing & Organization:
You love using checklists, spreadsheets, and folder structures to keep documents neat and secure. - Familiarity with Indonesian legal and regulatory frameworks, particularly as they relate to education and childcare, is an advantage.
