Primary Homeroom Teacher (Specializing in English) - Sudirman
The primary homeroom teacher is responsible for managing a primary classroom while delivering effective English instruction. The teacher supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development, fosters a positive learning environment, and helps students build strong foundational English skills.
Key Responsibilities a. Teaching & Learning- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum
- Use various teaching strategies to support different learning styles and abilities
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments
- Serve as the primary teacher responsible for the overall well‑being of students in the class
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
- Support students’ social, emotional, and character development
Monitor student attendance, behavior, and academic progress
- Assess students’ learning through quizzes, assignments, projects, and exams
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support improvement
- Prepare student progress reports and communicate academic developments to parents
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student learning
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and school events
- Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education, English Education, or related field
- Maximum 35 years old
- Available in 2026/2027 academic year
- 1 - 3 years of experience in teaching primary/elementary level students/homeroom teachers
- Strong communication, collaboration, and student wellbeing focus
- Proficient in ICT & Educational Technology (Google Workspace & teaching‑learning apps)
- Having a TOEFL/IELTS Certificate is a huge advantage
- Loving children and having passion in education
- Pleasant personality and highly adaptable to new challenges
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Having a Responsible to Life attitude
