EOI - BIM Coordinator

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Assist in the development and implementation of Information Management and BIM Plans, procedures, and workflows to support information production and delivery processes to satisfy the engagement’s information requirements.
• Assist in the creation of proposal documentation and have experience presenting digital strategies to project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Information Standards and Information Management quality processes.
• Contribute to the Information Management risk management strategy and identify & address risks to the engagement’s outcomes resulting from Information Management processes, digital delivery systems, data, or IT infrastructure.
• Implement and support training plans to ensure all members of the disciplines are sufficiently trained on processes and tools.
• Be responsible for data flows and work processes to enable data‑centric delivery, managing consistency and quality across deliverables including data, documents, drawings and models.
• Actively promote the facilitation of visual design coordination to ensure design intent across all disciplines including Model Breakdown Structure and federation of 3D models.
• Coach functional and discipline teams to leverage design coordination and clash detection tools within their own discipline to proactively design outcomes in a smart and timely manner.
• Be responsible for ensuring that there is a consistent approach to modelling of graphical (3D) data and inclusion of non‑graphical data across, including consistent and appropriate technologies in use.
• Ensure BIM processes/workflows are communicated and followed across the project for the federation and quality assurance of design models (model graphical and data checking and verification, clash mitigation and control) and verification of general information needed for reports, model production and delivery.
• Assess the information management and digital execution capabilities of supplier and sub‑consultants.
• Engage and collaborate with supply chain and sub‑contractors to directly integrate fabrication/construction models within design models to ensure compliance with design intent and mitigate clashes, issues and site‑based rework.
• Client liaison and communication, fluent in English (both verbal and written).

• You will hold a degree or certificate in Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields, along with experience in EPCM and/or Design‑Build delivery models and coordination of BIM teams to ISO 19650 standards.
• You will have at least 5 years of experience in Information Management/BIM Coordination.
• You will have excellent communication, teamwork and collaboration skills, and a demonstrated competency working within a team as someone who openly shares ideas and enjoys working closely with others.
• Candidates with previous experience using Bentley Open Suite, Autodesk Suite and have knowledge of the fundamentals of project execution will be highly regarded.
• Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions.
