Field Service Engineer and West

Responsible for providing after sales "engineering support" for installation/post installation of instruments and informatic solution supplied by BD DS. Obligated to support the local Field Service team in day‑to‑day service operations, resolve break/fix and conduct routine preventive maintenance in Jakarta and West Area.

• Undertake product repair and installation on client premises.
• Provide training and technical advice to clients on instrument use, by telephone or in person.
• Investigate difficulties and solve faults arising from operation or utilization, either by telephone or on customer premises, and seek advice from Regional Service Engineer on unresolved faults.
• Rectify problems, suggest solutions or arrange for repairs to be made.
• Provide an important link between customers and sales/marketing.
• Monitor repairs in terms of the organization’s service/warranty cover, and make suggestions as to product improvements.
• Recommend required spare parts, assist with monitoring requirements and keep proper customer records.
• Carry out planned maintenance calls.

• Diploma/Degree in Biomedicals, Instrumentation, or Electronics.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in instrumentation (preferably biomedical/biotech lab instruments or molecular diagnostics).
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related software.
