• Process soil and rock samples in accordance with Fugro procedures
• Log soil and rock samples to the relevant standard (e.g. ISO 17892, ASTM or others)
• Perform basic soil and/or rock description and soil testing
• Accurately and completely record data onto recording forms
• Calculate test results using a spreadsheet or software
• Produce or assist in the production of project deliverables and/or reports
• Recognize and adhere to the company’s QHSE policies and procedures
• Work offshore and in the onshore laboratories or other parts of Fugro offices as required

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geological engineering, or related disciplines
• Relevant working experience in civil engineering is preferred but not mandatory
• Conversant in both written and spoken English for daily communication and report writing
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
