Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our shipyard team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that support the shipbuilding process. The ideal candidate should have experience in shipyard drafting, proficiency in relevant software, and a strong understanding of shipbuilding principles.
Accountant Responsibilities:
- Blueprint Creation:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D drawings, blueprints, and schematics for ship components and structures.
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Material and Component Specifications:
- Generate drawings and specifications for ship components, including materials, dimensions, and assembly instructions.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate representation of components in drawings.
- Modification and Revision:
- Review and incorporate changes or modifications to existing drawings as directed by engineers or project managers.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking and documenting revisions.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Address design issues and provide solutions in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
- Assist in identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues during the drafting process.
- Software Proficiency:
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software proficiently to create, edit, and finalize technical drawings.
- Stay updated on the latest software tools and technologies relevant to shipyard drafting.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation required for regulatory compliance.

- Understanding of shipbuilding principles, terminology, and components.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
