Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our shipyard team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that support the shipbuilding process. The ideal candidate should have experience in shipyard drafting, proficiency in relevant software, and a strong understanding of shipbuilding principles.

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Blueprint Creation:
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D drawings, blueprints, and schematics for ship components and structures.
  • Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, specifications, and project requirements.
• Material and Component Specifications:
  • Generate drawings and specifications for ship components, including materials, dimensions, and assembly instructions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate representation of components in drawings.
• Modification and Revision:
  • Review and incorporate changes or modifications to existing drawings as directed by engineers or project managers.
  • Maintain an organized system for tracking and documenting revisions.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Address design issues and provide solutions in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Quality Control:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues during the drafting process.
• Software Proficiency:
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software proficiently to create, edit, and finalize technical drawings.
  • Stay updated on the latest software tools and technologies relevant to shipyard drafting.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation required for regulatory compliance.

• Understanding of shipbuilding principles, terminology, and components.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
