This is a full-time, on-site Graduate Engineering Trainee role based in Jakarta. The Graduate Engineering Trainee will support daily engineering activities in the manufacturing environment, including assisting in process improvement, production planning, and quality monitoring. The role involves collecting and analyzing technical and operational data, preparing reports, and supporting cross-functional projects under the guidance of senior engineers. The trainee will participate in on-the-job training related to aluminium manufacturing, equipment operation, safety procedures, and lean practices.

The position also includes coordinating with production, maintenance, and quality teams to help implement engineering solutions and ensure smooth plant operations.

• Strong foundation in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, with the ability to understand technical drawings, processes, and engineering standards.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills and problem-solving capability to interpret data, identify issues, and propose practical improvements.
• Effective Communication skills for clear reporting, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams on the shop floor.
• Basic Project Management skills to support planning, tracking, and execution of improvement initiatives and engineering projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• High willingness to learn, attention to detail, and discipline in following safety and quality procedures.
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to shift or extended hours if required by operations.
• Familiarity with CAD tools, MS Excel, and basic data analysis techniques is an advantage.
• Internship or project experience in manufacturing, production, or engineering environments is beneficial.
