Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site Graduate Engineering Trainee role based in Jakarta. The Graduate Engineering Trainee will support daily engineering activities in the manufacturing environment by:
- Assisting in process improvement, production planning, and quality monitoring.
- Collecting and analyzing technical and operational data.
- Preparing reports and supporting cross‑functional projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participating in on‑the‑job training related to aluminium manufacturing, equipment operation, safety procedures, and lean practices.
- Coordinating with production, maintenance, and quality teams to implement engineering solutions and ensure smooth plant operations.
- Strong foundation in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, with the ability to understand technical drawings, processes, and engineering standards.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and problem‑solving capability to interpret data, identify issues, and propose practical improvements.
- Effective communication skills for clear reporting, documentation, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams on the shop floor.
- Basic project management skills to support planning, tracking, and execution of improvement initiatives and engineering projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- High willingness to learn, attention to detail, and discipline in following safety and quality procedures.
- Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and adapt to shift or extended hours if required by operations.
- Familiarity with CAD tools, MS Excel, and basic data analysis techniques is an advantage.
- Internship or project experience in manufacturing, production, or engineering environments is beneficial.
