Application Engineer – Downhole Tools & Chemicals Engineering Responsabilites

• Prepare technical documents to be handed over to the project engineer/production engineer.
• Participated in the Aanwijzing tender.
• Create new product technical data.

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in pump manufacturing/pump service/pump installation/design pumping system/piping system (preferably experienced as an engineer in EPC, Pump System, Oil & Gas Production).
• Experienced in preparing tender documents.
• Knowledge of API 610 & API 674 pumps.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, calendar); experience with MS Project and AutoCAD 2013 (min. 2D).
• Understanding of engineering specs, documents, and software engineering calculations.
• Basic understanding of Health, Safety & Environment.
• Knowledge of HI institute & ISO Standard centrifugal pump construction & testing.
• Proficient in technical drawing (GA, P&, detail drawing, ASSY drawing).
• Knowledge of Process Design, prime mover, material selection for pump accessories and system.
• Understanding of ASME Standard for Welding.
• Knowledge of main principles of rotating equipment, assembling, testing, and commissioning.
• Basic project management knowledge.
• Strong analytical thinking.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.
