I​/E Engineer or Sr I​/E Technician

• To support Production, Utility, QC, PPIC, and QC-Lab Department

• Comply and follow all EHS regulations
• Work safely in accordance with the occupational safety rules applicable at PT BASF Indonesia, Merak plant.

• To install, replace, and repair Instrument and Electrical equipment at the Merak factory
• To repair and perform analysis to solve problems in Instrument and Electrical equipment
• Carry out maintenance activities on Instrument and Electrical equipment and installations
• Calibrate Instrument and Electrical equipment according to the existing schedule and procedures.
• Support production, projects, PPIC, utility, and also QC activities at the Merak factory
• To prepare daily work reports in the Instrument and Electrical department
• Perform maintenance on electrical equipment at the Merak factory and also its electrical building.

• Report production cycle time
• Create Work Order for maintenance in production area
• Create Root Cause Analysis for deviation in production process

• Minimum Bachelor/Diploma degree majoring Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation / Engineering Physics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in related field (Bachelor Degree)
• Minimum 6 years of experience in related field (Diploma)
• Hands on experience in field instrument such as troubleshooting, calibration and preventive maintenance (Flowmeter, Pressure Transmitter, Level Transmitter, Control Valve, etc)
• Hands on experience in Electrical Equipment such as troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance (Transformer, Circuit breaker, MCC. Switch gear, 1 & 3 Phase motor)
• Hands on experience in programming and troubleshooting DCS and PLC for plant process
• Hands on experience in electrical safety and EHS requirement in petrochemical field
