PT Pelsart Tambang Kencana is seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Superintendent to oversee environmental compliance, environmental management system implementation, and environmental performance monitoring to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and ensure the implementation of environmental governance and compliance frameworks across operations.
- Manage and evaluate the implementation of Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 and applicable environmental regulations.
- Coordinate environmental permitting requirements, regulatory reporting, and environmental compliance obligations.
- Lead environmental audits, compliance verification, and environmental monitoring activities.
- Evaluate environmental monitoring data and ensure compliance with applicable environmental quality standards, including wastewater, emissions, and hazardous waste (Limbah B3) management.
- Develop and manage environmental reporting systems, including environmental KPI and monitoring dashboards.
- Coordinate follow-up actions arising from audits, inspections, and regulator findings.
- Monitor environmental regulatory developments and translate requirements into environmental compliance programs.
- Initiate continuous improvement programs and environmental risk control initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and coordination to environmental teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography, Geology, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management and environmental compliance within the mining industry.
- Strong understanding of environmental and mining regulations.
- Familiar with Environmental Management System (EMS) and ISO 14001 implementation.
- Experienced in environmental audits and compliance verification.
- Knowledge of hazardous waste (Limbah B3) management, pollution control, reclamation, and biodiversity management.
- Experienced in environmental reporting, KPI management, and dashboard monitoring.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work collaboratively across functions and stakeholders.
