Position: QHSE Officer (Maritime)
Location: Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta

IDS Group is seeking experienced QHSE Officers to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all operational activities both ashore and onboard vessels comply with national and international safety standards while maintaining the company's quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems.

1. Documentation & Compliance
  • Understand and implement IDS Group manuals, SOPs, forms, and applicable maritime regulations, including ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC, and regulations issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation.
  • Assist in maintaining, reviewing, and standardizing the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Management System (SMS) / SMK3 to ensure compliance with national and international maritime standards.
  • Manage, register, and archive all QHSE documentation in both physical and digital formats.
  • Support the implementation and review of SMS documentation to ensure full compliance with the ISM Code and Indonesian maritime regulations.
2. Audits & Inspections
  • Assist in conducting internal audits onboard vessels and at shore facilities, including monitoring and following up on corrective actions.
  • Support external audits conducted by authorities, clients, or certification bodies and manage all related documentation.
  • Perform safety inspections on vessels, projects, and terminals to identify and address unsafe acts and conditions, including hazards related to enclosed space entry and mooring operations.
  • Ensure all lifting gear, Life-Saving Appliances (LSA), Fire-Fighting Equipment (FFE), and electrical equipment onboard vessels are inspected in accordance with maritime regulations and that all certificates remain valid and up to date.
3. Training & Safety Culture
  • Develop, prepare, and distribute routine safety communications and HSE awareness materials, including PPE compliance and hazard reporting campaigns.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality and safety culture among both seafarers and shore-based personnel.
  • Facilitate Corporate Safety Committee and Safety Committee meetings.
4. General Duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, QHSE Manager, or Designated Person Ashore (DPA).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS/K3), Aviation, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a QHSE role, preferably within the maritime or shipping industry.
  • Valid General OHS Expert (AK3U) certification issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker RI) or BNSP.
  • Strong understanding of maritime regulations, including ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC, and SMK3 requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Willingness to travel and conduct inspections onboard vessels, terminals, or project sites as required.
