Layout Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties in line with the Company’s Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Perform elevator calculations used in drawing preparation using Schindler approved tools e.g. guide brackets / separator beams / pit and machine room loadings / compensation loads in pit
• Select the elevator components from Schindler TK’s, Product Line Component Specification and Engineering Centre pre-approved technical solutions.
• Check and sign own drawings
• Ensure that drawings are prepared and issued in line with target dates in the DO Planning Schedule.
• BIM Modelling and coordination
• Generates model content for documentation or other purposes to Clients’ requirement
• Uses BIM in coordination and interacts with project stakeholders to rectify errors
• Provide 2D drawing with CAD software
• Provide 3D drawing with Revit software
• Coordination with internal and external Client
• rovide the local solution with reference to the MDC solution and guideline

• Minimum 3-5 years working experience
• Desired knowledge in Elevator & Escalator industry.
• Communication and written skills in English
• Familiar with Auto Cad and any design works system
• Strong analytic, problem-solving and customer orientation skill
