- UPS Management & Optimization
:
Plan load capacities, conduct preventive maintenance, perform battery string testing, and monitor the health of industrial‑scale UPS systems to guarantee 100% backup readiness during main grid failures - Power Cabling Architecture
:
Design, install, and maintain power distribution paths from Main Distribution Panels and Power Distribution Units (PDUs) down to the server racks. Ensure balanced phase loading and clean cable management adhering to strict safety standards - EMS Integration & Monitoring
:
Utilize the Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) to track real‑time electrical metrics (voltage, current, PDU load) and UPS battery room environmental conditions - Electrical Troubleshooting
:
Conduct root cause analysis and execute rapid remediations for power anomalies, panel trips, or UPS system fault alarms - Compliance & Safety Audits
:
Conduct regular electrical inspections, ensuring all cabling installations, earthing, and grounding systems fully comply with national electrical codes (e.g., PUIL) and OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) regulations - Vendor Management
:
Coordinate with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or third‑party vendors for advanced maintenance, large‑scale UPS component replacements, or EMS sensor calibrations - Minimum Education
:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, strongly preferred with a concentration in Power Engineering / High Voltage - Work Experience
:
Minimum of 3–5 years of working experience as a Power Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Facilities Technician in a Data Center, critical facility, or high‑tech manufacturing environment - Deep understanding of industrial UPS topologies (single‑phase and 3‑phase), rectifier/inverter modules, and battery bank maintenance
- Proficiency in reading, creating, and modifying electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
- Hands‑on experience in power cabling layouts, cable sizing calculations, and electrical load balancing
- Familiarity with integrated EMS dashboard operations (such as Schneider Eco Struxure, APC Net Botz, or equivalent)
- Preferred Certifications & Attributes
- Valid Electrical OHS Expert Certification (Ahli K3 Listrik) from the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) is a highly significant advantage
- Data Center certifications (such as CDCP - Certified Data Centre Professional) are a strong preference
- Detail‑oriented with a high level of situational awareness regarding electrical hazards, and willing to be on‑call for emergency power outage
