Project Manager - Electrical (Data Center Construction)
Highly accomplished Project Manager specializing in MEP (Electrical) with over 15 years of extensive experience in managing complex construction and infrastructure projects. Proven expertise in delivering electrical and MEP systems from design through commissioning, ensuring compliance with international standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Demonstrates strong leadership in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing contractors, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Skilled in integrating electrical systems with overall MEP functions while maintaining high-quality standards and operational efficiency.
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of MEP electrical works across major projects.
- Develop project schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates for electrical systems.
- Ensure all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Coordinate closely with civil, mechanical, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
- Oversee design review, shop drawings, and technical submittals related to electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as IEC, NEC, BS, and local authority regulations.
- Supervise installation of electrical systems including:
- HV Sub-station
- Have knowledge in working with liquid cooling system.
- LV/MV systems
- ELV, fire alarm, and communication systems
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) – highly desirable
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) / equivalent – an advantage or certification on DC
- Minimum 15 years with min 5 years’ experience construction of DC (have done full lifecycle of DC construction & commissioning)
- Proven track record of delivering data center project with experience in data center with liquid cooling preferred
- Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments including clients, consultants, and contractors
- Exposure to international standards, contracts (FIDIC preferred), and regulatory frameworks.
