SENIOR OPERATION CRITICAL TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEER

The Senior Operation Critical Telecommunication (OCT) Engineer shall be responsible for managing the existing OCT systems to maintain and improve the safety, reliability, availability, capacity, sustainability, and performance of each system within the OCT System.

The existing OCT System comprises the following systems: PAGA, CCTV, ACS, People Counting System, FIDS, Voice Recording System, MATV, Master Clock System, Telephone System, Trunked and Pager Radio, Marine Radio, GTA Radio, NDB, RF over FO System, BDA System, and AIS.

• Perform the analysis for the client's current design, build the Client Operation Critical Telecommunication system installed on the worksite, and develop the design and budgetary plan.
• Perform an analysis of the current maintenance and procedures/tasks for the Operation Critical Telecommunication system, make the necessary changes to improve, and create the Management of Change (MOC).
• Perform the analysis for the current design and/or build the system to identify critical spare parts and quantities necessary to be procured and stored on the worksite.
• Support the onsite technician in performing day-to-day jobs.
• Support the project team during the modification and/or implementation of the new system/infrastructure, including the Operation Critical Telecommunication system as part of the project.

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's (S1) in Telecommunication/Instrumentation/Electronics.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the design and analysis of the operation of critical telecommunication systems for oil and gas, mining, or other similar industries.
• Skillful in reading and understanding electrical and telecommunication schematics.
• Familiar with and applied FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) during the design of the system.
• Familiar with and have experience with HAZOP and HAZID.
• Capable and have experience to troubleshoot and maintenance of the operational telecommunication system.
• Skillful in using a personal computer, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Maximo or SAP-PM.
• Intermediate in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Capable of reading and writing technical documentation, such as technical specifications, procedures, and instructions.
• Have knowledge and training certificates (if any) for systems such as PA/GA, CCTV, Access Control Systems, Radio Systems, Trunking Radio Systems, and Electrical Installation in Hazardous Areas.
• Have a training and a Certificate in Basic Sea Survival.
