Field Specialist II - SPS

Be part of a team that keeps energy moving. You will be a senior, hands-on leader in the Field Service Engineering (FSE) team, serving as a mentor and technical authority across multiple product lines. You will act as the focal point at the worksite, ensuring seamless execution of Baker Hughes operations while delivering exceptional customer support.

This role requires strong technical expertise in at least two product categories such as Wellheads, Controls, or Trees/Completions
, combined with the ability to lead crews, mentor junior engineers, and drive operational excellence.

• Execute and lead offshore operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of services to customers.
• Follow and execute Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project Related Procedures (PRP).
• Mentor less experienced Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and assist in increasing their knowledge and experience.
• Manage inventory of Baker Hughes equipment offshore; perform control, function tests, repairs and reporting of maintenance for delivered or rented equipment.
• Perform pressure testing in line with installation and maintenance procedures.
• Prepare work status or problem reports for customers or projects; assist in planning shipping of equipment from offshore or customer sites.
• Assist in stack-up testing and failure investigations; review NPT occurrences.
• Assist Engineering / Project Managers with preparation of procedures when requested.
• Lead and assist workshop personnel when requested; assist with preparation of maintenance procedures when requested.
• Comply with and promote Company and Regulatory EHS requirements and Quality Management systems.
• Participate in reviews of operation and maintenance manuals; contribute to installation procedures and stack-up testing programs.
• Ensure daily operation reports are updated and handed over to relevant offshore personnel; ensure equipment and tools are checked out and available.
• Work onshore when required by Field Service Supervisor.

• At least 5 years of relevant field service experience.
• Strong expertise in wellheads, controls, or trees/completions equipment.
• Highly skilled in troubleshooting, repair, and technical problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
• Knowledge of drilling and production operations; familiarity with offshore installation processes.
• Technical qualification or apprenticeship certification.
• Offshore experience and understanding of operator practices.
• Completed required safety training certifications.
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
