Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment) - Reciprocating Pump
Bachelor’s Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or related engineering discipline.
10-15 years of relevant experience
in Mechanical / Rotating Equipment Engineering, preferably within
Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or EPC projects
.
Proven experience in handling
EPC projects
, preferably working with major EPC contractors and/or international clients.
Strong knowledge and practical experience with
Rotating Equipment
, particularly
Reciprocating Pumps
.
Familiar with
API 674
and other applicable international standards related to reciprocating pumps and rotating equipment.
Experienced in reviewing and coordinating
engineering and vendor documents
, including datasheets, drawings, calculations, specifications, ITP, QCP, FAT documentation, O&M manuals, and other technical submittals.
Able to
interface and coordinate effectively with the Client/EPC Contractor and the Pump Manufacturer/Principal
, including resolving technical queries, comments, deviations, and document-related issues.
Capable of acting as the
technical bridge between the Client, EPC Project Team, and Pump Manufacturer
, ensuring project requirements and technical deliverables are properly aligned.
Familiar with
project coordination, progress monitoring, project controls, and regular project reporting
.
Able to support
Document Control activities
, including monitoring document status, submission schedules, review comments, revisions, and overdue deliverables.
Strong ability to manage
multiple priorities and tight EPC project deadlines
.
Good understanding of
project schedules, deliverables, milestones, and expediting requirements
.
Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English
, with the ability to communicate effectively with international clients, EPC contractors, and overseas manufacturers.
Proficient in
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with project/document management systems is an advantage.
Willing and available to commence employment on 1 September 2026.
Based in Jakarta
and available to work from the Jakarta office.
Willing to support occasional
client/vendor meetings and project-related travel
, when required.
