Financial Reporting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, or local GAAP).
• Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of subsidiaries by coordinating with the subsidiaries accounting teams.
• Handle intercompany eliminations, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders including banks (lender), investor reports & audit.
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure smooth and efficient audits.
• Analyse consolidated financial results to provide insights to senior management.
• Consolidate business units monthly report submitted by subsidiaries.
• Assist in implementing new accounting standards across the group.
• Assist in development to financial consolidation report system.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field.
• Prior experience in group financial consolidation is essential.
• Highly understanding of consolidation principles and practices and proficiency in financial reporting standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
