About the job Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Job Description:
- Manage licensing and permitting processes for company establishment and operations.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations and laws, including environmental and trade regulations.
- Conduct research and analysis on government policies, incentives, and regulations affecting the company.
- Provide legal advice and support on manufacturing management, import regulations, and customs procedures.
- Collaborate with government agencies, supply chain teams, and other stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all regulatory and compliance activities.
Qualifications:
- Law degree with experience in corporate law, FDI licensing, and international trade.
- Experience (3-5 years) in regulatory and import compliance or legal affairs, especially experience in opening a new manufacturing plant in Indonesia.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and investment policies in Indonesia.
- Familiarity with Indonesian trade laws, customs procedures, and free trade agreements.
- Strong negotiation skills and government relations expertise.
