At Esri Indonesia, we’re building a new government affairs capability to deepen our partnerships with key ministries and help shape how geospatial technology supports national priorities.

As Government Relations Manager, you will lead how Esri Indonesia engages with the Indonesian public sector - not as a salesperson, but as a trusted advisor, connector, and strategic influencer.

You will work at the intersection of government, policy, and technology, helping ministries and agencies understand how GIS can support infrastructure planning, sustainability, and national development priorities.

This role is about long-term impact

You will:

• Build and maintain relationships with senior government stakeholders across key ministries and agencies
• Influence policy discussions and represent Esri in national spatial and digital initiatives
• Identify and shape public sector opportunities by aligning government priorities with Esri’s capabilities
• Develop strategic partnerships that move relationships from transactional to trusted and long‑term
• Act as the bridge between government stakeholders and internal teams (sales, pre-sales, customer success)
• Provide insight into the evolving policy, regulatory, and government landscape

You’ll be stepping into a newly created role, with the opportunity to build a function, influence strategy, and leave a lasting mark on how Esri Indonesia engages with government.

You’re a commercially minded government affairs professional who knows how to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build credibility at senior levels.

You understand that government engagement is a long game and you’re motivated by impact, influence and relationship‑building.

• Proven experience in government affairs, public affairs, or public sector engagement (3–5+ years minimum)
• A solid background in the technology or IT industry
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior government stakeholders and build trusted relationships
• Experience influencing or contributing to policy discussions, programs, or initiatives
• A strong understanding of how to translate government priorities into strategic opportunities
• The ability to operate in ambiguous, evolving environments and create structure where none exists

• You’re patient, adaptable, and comfortable navigating long and unpredictable government cycles
• You bring both strategic thinking and execution discipline
• You’re confident working cross‑functionally and influencing without authority
