AI Project Manager; Banking & Financial Services AI Solutions

We are partnering with a rapidly growing Artificial Intelligence technology company that is expanding its presence across Southeast Asia. The organization delivers enterprise AI solutions to Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), and Regulatory Institutions, enabling clients to enhance customer engagement, improve operational efficiency, strengthen risk management, and accelerate digital transformation.
We are seeking an experienced AI Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of AI transformation projects across financial institutions and regulatory organizations. This role will act as the primary bridge between clients, business stakeholders, data scientists, engineers, and product teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Execution- Lead end-to-end implementation and deployment of AI solutions across Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, and Regulatory clients.
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, budgets, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop project plans, milestones, governance structures, and delivery roadmaps.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve delivery issues and bottlenecks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project implementation.
- Facilitate project steering committees, executive reviews, and stakeholder workshops.
- Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for senior management and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with client executives, business teams, compliance functions, and technology teams.
- Coordinate implementation of AI solutions across areas such as:
- Customer Intelligence & Segmentation
- AI-Powered Marketing & Personalization
- Fraud Detection & Prevention
- AML & Financial Crime Monitoring
- Risk Analytics & Compliance
- Intelligent Customer Service Solutions
- Generative AI Applications
- Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning Models
- Ensure smooth collaboration between Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Solution Architects, and Client Teams.
- Gather and document business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans and technical requirements.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with client business goals, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), solution validation, and go-live activities.
- Establish project governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
- Track project KPIs, deliverables, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure project documentation and delivery standards are maintained.
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across project engagements.
- Support sales and consulting teams during client discussions and proposal development.
- Participate in solution workshops, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and project estimations.
- Provide delivery insights and implementation feasibility assessments during sales cycles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management, Technology Consulting, Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, or Enterprise Technology Delivery.
- Proven experience managing large-scale technology implementation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing capabilities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including business users, engineers, and technical specialists.
- Experience delivering AI, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Digital Transformation, Cloud, or Enterprise Software projects.
- Exposure to Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Fintech, or Regulatory sectors.
- Familiarity with AI and analytics platforms, data ecosystems, and enterprise technology environments.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements.
- Prior consulting or professional services experience is highly desirable.
