Data Scientist

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end analytics and machine learning projects independently, from problem identification, model development, deployment, until business recommendation implementation

Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams) to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions

Develop predictive, prescriptive, and optimization models to support business growth, operational efficiency, forecasting, and strategic decision-making

Analyze large and complex datasets from multiple business functions to uncover trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights

Build scalable dashboards, reporting systems, and data visualization tools for management and business stakeholders

Manage analytics initiatives and project timelines independently while ensuring alignment with business priorities

Improve data governance, data quality, and analytics processes to support sustainable data capabilities across the organization

Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Stay updated with emerging AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics trends relevant to the manufacturing and FMCG industry

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Senior Data Analyst, Analytics Consultant, or similar role
• Proven experience handling analytics/data science projects independently as an individual contributor
• Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving capability
• Strong understanding of manufacturing/FMCG business processes and commercial operations
• Proficient in Python, SQL, machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• Experience working with large-scale and complex datasets
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence business decisions
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in AI consultancy, digital transformation, or advanced analytics consulting will be a strong advantage
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, data engineering concepts, or MLOps is a plus
