Cloud Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks related to installing Linux (Red Hat) servers from scratch, configuring, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor performance for all Linux servers (OS, CPU, Memory, Network, Disk, and Process), detect, diagnose, report, and resolve Linux server‑related hardware and OS problems.
• Perform hardening and security configuration of Linux (Red Hat) servers.
• Establish and maintain documentation and standards.
• Work as part of a team and provide support when required.
• Implement cloud solutions across AWS, GCP, and on‑premise platforms such as Red Hat Open Shift.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) tools.
• Support and/or perform cloud migrations, hybrid connectivity, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Troubleshoot cloud and on‑premise issues, respond to incidents from monitoring systems, and maintain infrastructure documentation.

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Red Hat certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of best practices for Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform, Red Hat OS, and IT operations in an always‑up, always‑available service.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux (Red Hat) environment, managing, troubleshooting and configuring servers.
• Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible.
• Experience in scripting (Bash, Shell) and basic Dev Ops.
• Experience with applications such as web/proxy servers, LDAP, database (Cassandra, PostgreSQL), Kafka, etc.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced implementation environment.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to adapt to new technology (cloud computing, container, or configuration and automation management).
• Red Hat, AWS or Grafana certifications preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in managing, troubleshooting and configuring Linux (Red Hat) environments, AWS, or Grafana advantageous.
