Resident Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Resident Engineer to join our team in Indonesia. In this role, you will serve as the on-site technical expert, supporting our customer’s Nutanix infrastructure, including daily operations, troubleshooting, and client‑facing tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience level from 2‑6 years relevant experience
• Must Have:
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and virtualization technologies
  • VMware, Hyper‑V, or other hypervisors
  • Level 1 support knowledge for Oracle and SQL
  • AHV hypervisor environments
  • Windows Server administration
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage effectively with both clients and internal teams
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
• Preferred / Nice to Have:
  • Nutanix certifications (e.g., NCP, NCAP)
  • Nutanix Database Service (NDB)
  • Background in supporting enterprise‑level IT environments
  • Exposure to ITIL‑based service management practices

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the customer on‑site.
• Perform Day 2 operations for Nutanix infrastructure.
• Provide Level 1 support for Nutanix NDB, specifically for Oracle and SQL environments.
• Guide and assist the customer’s DBA team on NDB interface and operational workflows.
• Monitor and maintain hypervisor environments (AHV) and ensure performance stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and virtualization‑related issues.
• Support Windows Server environments and related infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with the client’s IT teams to implement best practices and optimize system performance.
• Document configurations, incidents, and resolutions clearly and accurately.
• Provide regular updates and technical feedback to internal teams and customer stakeholders.
• Travel to customer sites as required for support and implementation activities.
