The GBS Data and Analytics team works passionately to apply cutting‑edge technology to real‑world problems. As a Data Modeler
, you will work directly with architects and engineers to create, optimize, and document data models, translating complex business data into usable computer systems.

You are expected to support the enhancement of data governance, quality, and accessibility, ultimately empowering the organization to make data‑driven decisions and achieve strategic objectives.

• Graduated in (Business) Informatics, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in analytics and data roles
• Experience in data architecture, relational modeling, and multidimensional modeling, including modeling notations, Codd rules, and conceptual‑to‑logical‑to‑physical data models
• Proficient in SQL and in using a cloud‑based data warehousing platform such as Snowflake
• Experience using at least one data modeling tool such as SqlDBM, Erwin, ER/Studio, Power Designer, Enterprise Architect, Infosphere Data Architect, Modelsphere, or Toad Data Modeler
• Familiarity with master data and reference data concepts; experience with an MDM platform such as SAP‑MDG is a plus
• Business domain knowledge (Commercial, Consumer, or Operations) is a plus

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Good communication skills to work with business users and technical teams, collect requirements, and explain data modeling decisions and data engineering strategy
• Ability to work directly with remote technical teams

• Contribute to the design and implementation of data models to support data product delivery, in line with our enterprise data strategy
• Document full data lineage and data mapping rules to support and enable company transformation
• Shape the foundation of our analytics data platform with a focus on reusability, scalability, and end‑to‑end ownership
• Proactively anticipate and resolve potential data issues before they arise, driving operational excellence, trust, and data integrity across the enterprise
