Data Migration Specialist

- Conduct data migration meeting with client to explain how data migration process will be going
- Prepare Data Dictionary that have explanation about table structures, data volume, formats, data quality
- Identify data in scope for migration and data to be excluded (obsolete historical data, duplicates, etc.)
- Define the reconciliation item agree with the client on what will be reconciled post-migration
- Extract data from the client's legacy system according to the agreed scope and schedule
- Coordinate with the client IT team to obtain required data access (database dump, flat file export, API, etc.)
- Document the extraction method and ensure data integrity during the extraction process.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of client data throughout extraction
- Transform data per the Data Mapping Document: format conversion, reference code alignment, value normalization, and so forth
- Cleanse data of duplicates, inconsistencies, invalid null values, and other anomalies
- Prepare and execute validation scripts to verify completeness, accuracy, and consistency of migrated data
- Prepare a production migration plan (rundown migration): step sequence, time estimates, and rollback procedures
- Execute data migration to the production environment in line with the go-live schedule set by the Project Manager
- Perform post-migration checks to confirm production data is healthy before go-live operations begin
- Resolve data migration issue
- Min. S1 in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or related field
- Proficient in SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
- Experienced working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or equivalent)
- Able to read and produce technical data documentation (Data Mapping, Data Dictionary, ERD)
- Familiarity with ETL tools (SSIS or equivalent) is a plus
- Basic scripting ability (Python or Shell Script) for migration process automation is a plus.
- Understanding of multifinance business processes: debtor data structures, instalment, collateral, and accounting entries is a plus
- Familiarity with OJK reporting requirements for multifinance (SLIK, monthly OJK reports) is a plus
- Detail oriented and structured
- Strong analytical problem solving skill
- Able to communicate technical finding clearly to non technical stakeholder
- Maintains integrity and confidentiality in handling client data
- Willing to travel and work on site at client location
- Willing to work in weekend or after office hour according to project schedule
