Job Description
- Analyze existing Python 3.10 applications and identify compatibility issues with Python 3.13.
- Upgrade Python runtime environments and related libraries/packages.
- Review and refactor code to address deprecated features and breaking changes.
- Assess and update third-party dependencies to ensure compatibility with Python 3.13.
- Execute unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing to validate application functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related defects and performance issues.
- Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the migration process.
- Document migration activities, technical findings, risks, and resolutions.
- Support deployment activities and post-migration monitoring.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved within the defined four-month timeline.
- Proven experience in Python development and application maintenance.
- Strong understanding of Python versions, package management, and dependency resolution.
- Experience with Python migration or upgrade projects.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and containerized deployments.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Python Development (3+ years preferred)

- Dependency Management (pip, poetry, virtualenv)
- Code Refactoring and Optimization
- Troubleshooting and Debugging
- Unit Testing & Regression Testing (PyTest, Unittest)
- REST API Development and Integration
- Git Version Control
- Linux Administration and Shell Scripting
- CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops)
