ChargeBee Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced Chargebee Solution Architect to join our IT team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and continuously improving our subscription billing and monetization solutions.

In this role, you will translate business requirements into scalable Chargebee architecture, configurations, workflows, and integrations across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, and other business functions.

You will own and continuously develop our Chargebee solution and work closely with the wider Business Systems & Transformation team to ensure an effective end-to-end solution across Chargebee, Hub Spot, Net Suite, Deal Hub, payment platforms, and data systems
.

This is a hands-on role that combines solution architecture, technical implementation, data, integrations, and stakeholder management
. You will also have the opportunity to lead a small technical team and work with external vendors and integration partners.

• Lead the design and end-to-end delivery of Chargebee architecture and solutions across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other business functions.

• Own the Chargebee solution template and continuously develop, improve, and standardize the platform as our business grows.

• Translate business processes and requirements into scalable Chargebee configurations and technical solutions.

• Configure and manage Chargebee objects, properties, workflows, automations, subscription, and invoicing processes.

• Lead and execute data migration activities from legacy systems into Chargebee and related platforms.

• Define and maintain data governance, access models, data structures, and reporting requirements.

• Work closely with the Integration Developer to connect Chargebee with Net Suite, Hub Spot, Deal Hub, payment providers, and other business platforms.

• Provide technical expertise for API integrations, troubleshooting, and integration-related issues.

• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Commercial, Engineering, and IT teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

• Lead and mentor a small technical team and coordinate activities with external vendors and integration partners.

• Document solution architecture, configurations, data models, integration processes, and best practices.

• Support continuous improvement, automation, user enablement, and adoption of business systems across the organization.

• Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders across APAC, Europe, and North America.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

• 8+ years of experience in CRM/ERP design, configuration, implementation, or business systems transformation.

• Strong hands-on experience with Chargebee
  , particularly subscription management and invoicing processes.

• Proven experience delivering data migration and business systems transformation projects
  .

• Strong understanding of business processes, system architecture, and solution design.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across both technical and business teams.

• Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating technical teams.

• Experience integrating Chargebee with Net Suite, Hub Spot, Deal Hub
  , payment providers, or other enterprise platforms.

• Strong understanding of data structures, ETL processes, APIs, and system integrations

• Experience with integration and automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, Workato
  , or similar tools.

• Chargebee certifications in areas such as Administration, Solutions Architecture, or Data Management
  .

• Experience working with international or geographically distributed teams.

• Experience in subscription-based, SaaS, or recurring-revenue business models
  .
