The role combines bilingual translation and client-side communication support, focusing on liaising with Indonesian government clients to ensure smooth communication between the Chinese delivery team and the client, while supporting successful project delivery.

Core Role Objectives:
- Deliver accurate bilingual translation to eliminate communication barriers.
- Manage end-to-end communication coordination with local government clients, including language support, requirement transmission, and communication facilitation aligned with Indonesian culture and government business protocols, while maintaining basic client relationships to ensure smooth project delivery.
Job Responsibilities
This role focuses on Indonesian government/client-side operations and combines the responsibilities of a translator and client-side project assistant. The position centers on client communication, requirement coordination, and cultural adaptation aligned with Indonesian government standards.
Provide Chinese-Indonesian written and verbal translation throughout the full project delivery lifecycle, especially in communication scenarios involving Indonesian government clients, including but not limited to:
- Translation of government IT/AI technical proposals, delivery progress reports, business-related documentation, and operational materials.
- Real-time interpretation during technical meetings, project progress meetings, and client discussions between the Chinese project team and government stakeholders.
- On-site interpretation during system demonstrations and operational training sessions conducted by Chinese engineers.
- Daily written and verbal communication translation between both parties.
The translator must ensure alignment with Indonesian cultural etiquette and government communication standards, while maintaining consistency in IT, AI, and government-related terminology to avoid cultural or semantic misunderstandings.
2. Project Documentation Translation & Proofreading (Core Responsibility)
Responsible for translating and proofreading all project-related documents, especially government documents, IT/AI technical documentation, and delivery materials, including:
- Reviewing translated drafts
- Verifying terminology consistency
- Ensuring semantic accuracy and grammatical correctness
- Eliminating mistranslations and omissions
The role ensures all project documentation remains professional, accurate, traceable, and compliant with government project delivery standards.
3. Client-Side Communication Coordination (Core Project Assistant Responsibility)
Act as the dedicated liaison for Indonesian government clients, focusing exclusively on client-side communication coordination rather than internal project administration.
Responsibilities include:
- Proactively coordinating with government clients based on project delivery requirements
- Scheduling meetings and confirming discussion agendas
- Coordinating communication arrangements between the Chinese delivery team and clients
- Accompanying the Chinese team during client engagements
- Supporting bilingual communication while documenting client requirements and concerns to ensure efficient communication
4. Client Requirement Communication & Follow-Up
Accurately capture government client requests, business requirements, and modification feedback, then communicate them promptly to the Chinese delivery team.
