Translator Mandarin

Key responsibilities

Translate oral communication from Mandarin Chinese to Indonesian and vice versa

Translate documents, letters, reports, work instructions, and other communication materials

Accompany meetings, discussions, work coordination, and operational activities requiring Mandarin translation

Help ensure information and instructions from management are well understood by Indonesian employees

Serve as a communication bridge between Mandarin-speaking employees/management and Indonesian staff

Assist with communication in company administrative and operational activities

Maintain confidentiality of company information and documents

Perform other tasks related to translation and communication as needed by the company

Minimum D3/S1 education, all majors

Must have active Mandarin Chinese language skills, both oral and written

Able to communicate well in Indonesian

English language ability is a plus

Ability to translate Mandarin Indonesian accurately and clearly

Good communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills

Able to work independently and in a team

Willing to work and be placed in Jakarta

Experience as a Mandarin Translator/Interpreter in Chinese, construction, engineering, manufacturing, energy, mining, or other industries is a plus

Fresh graduates with good Mandarin skills are welcome to apply

PT GCL Indo Tenaga (GCLIT) is an SPC (Special Purpose Company) formed by PT PLN Indonesia Power Renewable (PLN IP Ren) together with Taicang Harbor Golden Concord Electric-Power Generation Co., Ltd (GCL) with 35% share ownership of PLN IPRen and GCL 65%. This SPC specifically handles the Kalbar-1 Coal Fired Power Plant with a capacity of 2x100MW, which is located in Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan.

The current status of the GCLIT project has entered the operational stage.
