Ideatax is seeking a Tax Translator Staff to join our growing team in Jakarta on a full-time basis
. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in bridging communication gaps within the taxation sector by translating complex tax documents, regulations, and communications. As a Tax Translator Staff, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and clear transmission of tax-related information across languages, supporting our clients and internal teams in navigating the intricacies of tax compliance and advisory services.

This position is essential to maintaining the quality and accessibility of our tax services in an increasingly global market.

Translate tax documents, legislation, regulations, and advisory materials from source languages into English and Indonesian (or vice versa) with precision and attention to tax terminology.

Ensure all translations maintain technical accuracy and comply with local and international tax standards.

Collaborate with tax consultants and advisory teams to clarify complex tax concepts and ensure translations reflect the intended meaning.

Proofread and quality-check translated materials to guarantee consistency, accuracy, and professional presentation.

Maintain a comprehensive database of tax-related terminology and translations to ensure consistency across projects.

Meet tight deadlines while managing multiple translation projects simultaneously.

Communicate with clients regarding translation requirements, timelines, and any clarifications needed.

Stay current with changes in tax regulations and legislation to ensure translations reflect the most recent information.

Proven experience as a translator, preferably with a background in taxation, accounting, or related financial services.

Fluency in English and Indonesian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

Strong understanding of tax terminology and concepts in both local and international contexts.

Attention to detail with the ability to accurately convey complex technical information.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Professional experience in accounting, taxation, or legal translation is highly valued.

Familiarity with translation software and tools is advantageous.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

A degree in languages, translation, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
