Merchandiser – Outdoor Furniture Material Sourcing

Job Responsibility

• Identify and liaise with suppliers for outdoor furniture materials, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Support product development by sourcing materials that meet design and technical specifications.
• Coordinate sample development and testing with suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor production timelines and resolve any sourcing-related issues to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Track market trends and material innovations relevant to outdoor furniture.
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and supplier performance.

• Min. 2+ years of experience in furniture or home goods sourcing, preferably in outdoor categories.
• Candidates must be fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written), as the role involves regular stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional communication with both office‑based and field teams.
• Strong familiarity with material types and supplier networks in Indonesia.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; capable of objectively analyzing root causes of problems, identifying optimal solutions, and ensuring thorough implementation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with basic industry English terminology.
• Self‑motivated with a strong commitment to continuous learning; willing to embrace new knowledge and skills and continuously improve professional expertise.
• Willing to travel locally for supplier visits and factory coordination.
