CMMS Maintenance Planner

Responsible for the planning and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance activities using the CMMS/EAM platform, ensuring accurate work order management and reliable maintenance data.

Manage work orders in the CMMS/EAM system for proper creation, planning, updating, and resolution.

Organize work orders and assign them to individual technicians or work teams by trade and urgency.

Work with corporate EAM/CMMS administrators to implement standard object coding schemes, PM procedures, and scheduling.

Coordinate the engagement and direction of vendors and subcontractors for planned and reactive works.

Work closely with the maintenance team to stage materials, permits, tools, and other resources.

Review predictive and preventive maintenance data for trends; provide regular reporting to management.

Perform data analysis on parts, assets, and spares; recommend process and software enhancements.

Measure and publish facilities KPI metrics to the management team.

Perform annual reviews of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Provide first-line CMMS/EAM support and user training at the site level.

High school diploma, trade school diploma, or equivalent, with 4-5 years of job-related experience.

Prior experience with CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., Maximo, or similar platforms).

Experience with planning, scheduling, and auditing facilities/maintenance activities.

Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
