Product Development Manager

Requirements;

• Identify opportunities and white space areas for innovation and new product development in the fast-food category
• Develop ideas and product prototypes by working through the ecosystem of chefs, vendors/suppliers and other developers
• Commercialize winning prototypes by effectively meeting the target metrics on P&L, Quality and Operations process
• Responsible for end- to end NPD project management and lead cross functional teams in order to ensure On
  - Time
  - In- Full launch
• Develop food briefs in partnership with research team
• Partner with food developers (chefs, suppliers, flavor houses) to deliver prototypes that meet the food & cost brief
• Work closely with research team to gauge consumer response to company's products and optimize accordingly
• Create a pipeline of ideas and prototypes to meet the business requirements in line with the marketing calendar
• Lead the development phase from prototype to commercialization of new products by working effectively with external partners and internal stakeholders (Supply chain, brand team, quality & brand standards)
• Work effectively with cross functional teams to ensure best in class launch and NPD roll out
• Support operations team on rolling out the products as per requirement
• Create operational process guidelines for launching of new products
• Hotel Management at around batch 2003
• Relevant Food industry experience of around 15 years
• Working in a Western or local QSR/mid to large scale chain serving beef and chicken menu
• Working directly with suppliers and leading the role (not junior executive) to have the apt culinary skills
