Application Technologist

We are looking for a Junior Application Technologist to become part of our Indonesia R&D team. You will carry out projects involving flavors and colors to develop in‑house knowledge of technology and applications. You will promote and build new sales and reinforce existing ones by providing technical service to clients and prospects and performing flavors and colors application of sweet, beverage, confectionery and bakery products.

This exciting opportunity is 100% office based.

• Responsible for flavor and some color application activities and support Sensient technical resources.
• Work on new product ideas and customer requirements, come up with creative alternatives.
• Support sales staff and travel with them to meetings with clients and prospects.
• Provide assistance and training to Marketing & Sales departments.
• Complete complex tasks in a timely manner to support business objectives.
• Prepare project reports, sample reports, and lab work reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in food technology, food science or equivalent education.
• 1‑3 years of experience in the food industry.
• Product & process development experience.
• Analytical instrument knowledge: product, processing, and testing knowledge, including ability to understand and explain results.
