Food Technologist​/Teknologi pangan

Food Technologist / Teknologi pangan position in an import and production company for food and beverage products. The role involves designing, formulating, and testing new food/beverage products from laboratory scale to commercialization, analyzing production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste, conducting financial analysis and supplier sourcing, and leading product trials and launches.

Design, formulate, and test new food/beverage products from laboratory scale to commercialization, including flavor profile and texture variations

Analyze current production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and recommend process improvements without compromising quality

Calculate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS/HPP), estimate Return on Investment (ROI) for equipment or new production lines, and source and select raw material suppliers

Lead and oversee trial runs, shelf-life tests, and large-scale production during product launch

Minimum S1 degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Minimum 2–3 years of work experience in R&D / Product Development in food or beverage industry

Deep understanding of food production processes, food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000), and BPOM & Halal regulations

Basic financial analysis capability in calculating production cost structure, cost margin, and investment feasibility analysis for equipment/materials

Wide network of food raw material suppliers is an added value

Strong communication skills, project management, and problem-solving abilities to coordinate across divisions (Production, Purchasing, and Marketing)
